Tin Grade A

Tin is one of the oldest metals used by humanity. It is generated from the smelter of cassiterite, it is a malleable metal with low mechanical resistance, high ductility, a low melting point, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and resistance to corrosion and oxidation.

After the ore reduction, the raw metal undergoes a refining process to achieve the purity required for Grade A Tin. The main applications of tin include the chemical, automotive, electroplating, and metallic coating industries, as well as solder manufacturers, among others.

Industrialization Service

Magnu’s Metais offers industrialization services for cassiterite, transforming the mineral into metal and refining tin according to each client's specifications.

We also recover tin-based residues, such as sludge, dross, oxides, and soldering waste, returning the metal to be reused in the industrial processes.

We hold environmental authorizations from the competent authorities to receive and process tin and solder residues, enabling the reverse logistics for our clients, thereby reducing their losses and waste.
